Hello Blackberry users,
There's actually options available at the BlackBerry App World for you to listen to Big B Radio on your BlackBerry.

Our first recommendation would be to use TuneIn Radio (free) or TuneIn Radio Pro.
Which does display the song title during airplay.
Just search for "big b radio" for our listing.

There's also our unofficial Big B Radio apps for each one of our channels at 7Langit/7SkyLab. I considered it an unofficial app only because Big B Radio didn't have any input on the design layouts or features on the app. But thankfully the 7SkyLab developers were able to create the app for us at no cost. Hence, why the song title and album cover features were strip and are not available unlike TuneIn Radio app.

[Mobile Tip] Pre-buffer settings

I often listen to Big B Radio on my mobile phone while traveling by car and mobile signals can be spotty in certain areas. I recommended using mobile radio app like TuneIn Radio app which has 'Pre-buffer seconds' settings feature that could help combat signals breaking up on you while tuning into Big B Radio. I recommended setting the Pre-buffer seconds feature to 10 seconds or more. TuneIn is available for the following devices: iPhone/iPad, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Palm, Samsung Bada.

Also saved us as your favorite station and then go to Presets mode on Tunein Radio app. There you'll be able to choose any bitrate streams for MAIN Channel, Kpop Channel and Cpop Channel from 192kb to 64kb, mp3 bitrate streams available by swiping left/right on selected station in Presets mode. Unfortunately, J-Channel only has 64kb bitrate available at this time.

Big Bang Alive Tour PH, Skype Call-In Segment & Petition for DJ Rip!

What's up everyone!! I have tons of things to share with you all, so here I go....

I finally purchased two Big Bang Live Concert Tour tix for me and my friend.... yay!!!  This weekend is totally awesome for me!!!!

Our tix.... That's for me and my friend !

I woke up a bit late, got ready to go out and dropped by somewhere to pay my Internet bill. Afterwards, I rode a taxi going to the mall where they sell the BB concert tix. When I got there at 11AM, I dashed straight to the cinema ticketing outlet (cus that's where they sell the tix, haha) but the staff told me they can't find it on their database yet. So I thought that maybe they'll release it by 12noon? So I found a small cafe, got online and checked for the tix updates. And ohh emmmm geee..... it says they will release it at 1PM! It means I'm still soooo early!!!

OK, since I didn't know what to do and I did skip breakfast, I grabbed lunch all by myself, which was a bummer because I hate eating alone in a mall. Then, 5 minutes before 1AM, I went back to the ticket booth and waited... and waited.... until the staff told me that the BB tix is now up for grabs..... *screams* So I asked for two tix and as soon she started reserving it for me, their server crashed.

I almost screamed BLOODY HELL!!!!

I begged and pleaded with her to fix their server because as of the moment, more BB fangirls around the country are buying as well and I need to get good spots for me and my friend! So she obliged and 10 minutes later, she finally got into their server. When I saw the latest updates of the seats, I immediately panicked. Most of the VIP seats are sold but thank goodness the Lower A sections were still open, so I opted for that section instead because really... we couldn't afford VIP seats T__T

Anyway, after selecting the reserved seats (I picked good spots by the way, hehe), I paid for my purchases and after waiting like forever, they gave me my tickets immediately! 


FINALLYYYYY~~~~ FANTASTIC BABY!!!

And oh by the way, did I mention that I was the only one on the booth who actually bought BB tix?? That means, no competition from other screaming BB fans.... talk about luck!!! Haha~~ the concert is three months away but I'm super duper glad that they're selling the tix early and that me and my friend got good seats.... ROW A, woot!! 


OK... I'm done with the BB con tix! Moving on....


If you guys have been listening to my session for the past week, have you noticed that I added a new segment?? That's right, I finally added a Skype Call-In Segment *claps claps in glee* I figured that it'll be awesome to interact with BBR listeners and get their request at the same time, so I experimented and I think a lot of listeners are digging the new segment. I do hope that this new segment takes off and hopefully there will be a lot of participants. Last but not the least.... DJ Ripster's Petition!!!

So what is this all about? Actually, this was like... a joke at first that I put out on the chatango. I kind of mentioned to the peepz on chat that DJ Ripster used to do Live DJ sessions back in the day. Due to his busy schedule updating the servers and what not, he finally put down his mic and focused on the internal side of BBR while me and the rest of the request DJs do the rest. 


So, after I told them DJ Rip's history with BBR and how we used to hear his voice and stuff, everyone at the chat suddenly wanted to hear DJ Rip do a live session. I told them he's busy unless they made an online petition of it. Jiyongbabo, one of the regular chatters, wasted no time and made the online petition *tehee*


Sooooo because we wanted Rip back on the airwaves, we need your help in making this possible. Just sign the petition here and we hope that we'll hear him soon :)

Server Glitches and Psy's Gangnam Style

What's up guys!!!

First of all, I really had a bad week of doing my K-POP sessions because of server issues.

Monday session was really great but when Wednesday arrived, it got really really bad. Apparently, all the other DJs had the same problem as well. So I had no choice but to postpone it to an impromptu session the next day. There were not a lot of listeners but it's alright. It was unexpected and the server was 'cooperating' with me.

When Friday came, I was expecting the server to be fast... but it turned out to be quite the opposite. Everytime I add a song most of the previous songs I queued were all gone. Just like that. So what do I do? I queue everything else again and pray they won't disappear on me. Yes, I was on air but it wasn't that really good, honestly. At one point I had my mic turned off while my background was playing - and I didn't realize that after I played my next song. Talk about bad luck! It probably has something to do with Friday the 13th, don't you think?

Okay, enuff said about my worse DJing week. On a lighter note, have you checked out Psy's teaser MV for Gangnam Style?? I'm really looking forward to his music video and let me tell you.... Psy is one of the best musicians who can pull off a great SHOW!!!

Also, you should check out his album jacket covers and you'll see a hilarious caricature of YG himself (LOL). It's not that hard to spot him unless you're not familiar with YG, so that's really a "fail" on your part (just kidding!).
